cotton is renewable, biodegradable and sustainable, hence it is one of the best fabrics to use. we organically source our cotton so as to avoid harming the environment through the procuring process. we use cotton knit, so that our clothing is slightly elastic in nature, to fulfil our promise of size inclusivity as well. this fabric is:

aastey breathe - cotton + elastane

aastey breathe is a combination of cotton and elastane. conventional elastane is a commonly used fibre that gives fabric elasticity. unfortunately, it is made from oil which is a fossil resource. however, we are exploring various sustainable alternatives to conventional elastane, such as recycled elastane and bio-based elastane. although this fabric is elastic in nature, the addition of our sustainable cotton makes it breathable for your skin.

Traditionally,recycled polyester is created using fossil fuels such as crude oil and is incredibly detrimental to the environment. However, we are constantly searching for ways to use completely sustainable and biodegradable materials.

Neoprene is a thick fibre composed of recycled polyester and spandex. Although it isn’t a sustainable fabric, its durability helps products last longer. If a product is worn for even a few months longer it contributes to reducing climate change. However, we are constantly on the lookout for completely sustainable and biodegradable fabrics and alternatives.
