Today I'm taking you back in time and am going to tell you how to have a complete facial at home with ingredients from your kitchen!
- Clean
Dip a cotton pad in milk and gently wipe your entire face. Milk is a natural cleanser and hydrating agent. It helps lighten spots and acts as a toner as well. After wiping your face with milk, wash off the excess with cold water.
2. Exfoliate
No product should ever go to waste. After your morning coffee, save those grounds because they are one of the best exfoliators for your skin. Add a spoonful of yoghurt (dahi) to your grounds and rub it all over your face and neck. The antioxidants in the coffee give a calming effect. It provides anti-ageing benefits, tightens skin, and lightens dark spots. The yoghurt brightens skin and moisturizes while exfoliating.
3. Mask
Add a pinch of turmeric to a spoonful of gently crushed oats. Add a tsp of aloe vera gel or yoghurt. Mix thoroughly and leave on for 20 min. Wash off with warm water. All these ingredients together help tighten and brighten your skin to give you a more youthful look.
4. Moisturize
Finally, it’s time to moisturize. Rub on a thin layer of aloe vera gel all over. Be careful not to let any go into your mouth. Aloe vera gives your skin a clear glassy look and a soft texture.
